Coming from Chalon-sur-Saône (Autoroute du Soleil A6 - exit 26 Chalon-sur-Saône Sud):
Follow signposts for Le Creusot, Montceau-les-Mines, Moulins, Cluny (N80). There is a turning almost immediately to your left signposted Buxy, stay on the dual carriageway until you reach the next turning to Buxy, Taizé and Cluny D981. Carry on along the D981 until you arrive at Cormatin. Drive through the town and out the other side. You go over a bridge (over the river Grosne) follow the road round to the left and take the first turning on the left. This turning is after a picnic area. At the junction the following signposts are displayed: a normal road sign to Bray, Chazelle and an Eglise Romane and advertisement boards for a goats' cheese farm (Fromage de chèvres - La trufière - Chissey les M à Lys) and a restaurant (La Grange Finot in Bray) and finally a sign saying "Site Clunisien". Follow this road through the small village, ignoring all the left-hand turns. When out of the village on the other side take the second unmade road on your right (just before the board saying "Forêt domaniale de la Grosne") this road leads to La Tuilerie on your right. Cormatin to La Tuilerie is just under 2 miles.

Coming from Mâcon leave the A6 at exit 29 direction Mâcon. Follow the road to Cluny (N79) which is mostly dual carriageway. You need to turn off the dual carriageway towards Cluny (D980) then skirt Cluny following signs to Cormatin (D981). After a couple of miles you will pass the following road signs on the right-hand side of the road: Minoterie Forest (a large flour mill clearly visible on the right-hand side); an "i" sign for Information together with a recreation area sign indicating 900m and a "P" sign for parking together with a recreation area sign 50m. Before the parking/ picnic/ recreation area there are normal road signs to Bray, Chazelle and Eglise Romane and a sign saying "Site Clunisien", turn right here. Follow this road through the small village, ignoring all the left-hand turns. When out of the village on the other side take the second unmade road on your right (just before the sign saying "Forêt domaniale de la Grosne") this road leads to La Tuilerie on your right. If however, you come into Cormatin itself, you have gone wrong so turn around and follow the instructions above from Cormatin. Cluny to La Tuilerie is approximately 7.5 miles.
