The following rules are designed to help everyone enjoy their stay.

If no one is present when you arrive, please select a site that is not occupied or reserved, settle in and register when one of us returns. When registering, we may ask to see valid identification (passport or driving license). Payment of the relevant fee should be paid on the last evening of your stay.

Check out must be by 2 p.m. on the last day of your stay to free up the site for new campers.

Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. During these hours please keep conversation volume low. Outside these quiet hours, you should continue to be considerate of the others campers who are here for the peace and quiet this site offers.

The use of radios and TVs is prohibited at all times, as is the use of generators.

Pets are not allowed (excluding animals assisting people with disabilities).

Digging, trenching or levelling sites for any purpose is not allowed.

Ropes, clotheslines, tent lines, hammocks and nails are not to be attached to trees or other vegetation. Washing lines are available for campers' use near the toilet block.

Campfires are prohibited at all times. Before using a BBQ please check any current restrictions with either of us. Lit BBQs must not be left unattended at any time.

Please separate your rubbish, for recycling, as far as possible. There is a recycling crate by the toilet block. Please put all paper, cardboard, glass, plastic bottles (no plastic yoghurt pots or plastic film), tetra packs and cans in this crate, we will sort it and make sure it goes to the right place. A bin is provided for all other rubbish. Please clean all recyclable items prior to putting them in the containers and minimize the amount of other waste you generate wherever possible. Vegetable waste can be put in the compost bin, please do not put fruit, bread, rice, pasta or meat in the compost as this attracts pests (wasps/rats).

Campers must clean the site of all rubbish and food items before leaving. Food and rubbish must be in sealed containers day and night to discourage pest infestations. There is a fridge and small freezer for campers' use behind the toilet block.

The campsite owners cannot be held responsible for injury or damage due to wind, water, fire or the negligence of you or others.

We hope you enjoy your stay and will visit us again soon.

SEPTIC TANK.

The toilets operate on a septic tank system. This is a very sensitive micro-environment which must not be abused or it will stop working, causing inconvenience to all on the premises. Nothing must be put into the toilets other than human waste and normal thin toilet paper (hence no wet toilet paper or baby wipes). No sanitary towels, tampons, wet toilet paper or baby wipes, nappies, plastic waste or any other item should be put down the toilets; these items WILL block the system and put it out of action possibly for a number of days.

CHEMICAL TOILETS.

Because of the septic tank, chemical toilets (even small ones) must not be emptied into the toilets. There are many chemical toilet emptying points in the area.
