A non-refundable deposit payment of 25% is required when making a booking. The booking will be considered to be
provisional until payment is received. Payment should be made by electronic transfer into our euro bank account. For UK residents, payment can be made in pounds sterling at the prevailing exchange rate. Please note that any bank charges incurred by a transfer into one of our accounts will be for
the account of the guest, so please check prior to making such a transfer to avoid unnecessary expenditure.
Full payment is required 8 weeks prior to the start date of the rental period at which time a refundable "security/
damage" deposit of 75 pounds is also required, which will be fully refunded within one week of the end of the rental
period if no damage has been found (see below). Non-receipt of these payments will be considered to be a cancellation of
the booking and the week(s) will become available for other potential guests.
Cancellation/Alterations
Cancellation should be made in writing by the person who has made the booking. Cancellations up to 8 weeks before the
rental period will incur the loss of the original booking deposit and cancellations made within 8 weeks of the rental
period will result in the loss of the full payment. The security/damage deposit will be refunded in full in the event of
a cancellation.
Holiday Insurance
You are strongly advised to obtain holiday insurance to cover the cost of your holiday and other expenses in the event
of unforeseen cancellation etc.
Guests' Responsibilities
The gite is to be left in a clean and tidy condition on departure and the security/damage deposit will be refunded within one
week after departure, less any deductions for damage, breakages, excessive cleaning etc.
The use of the accommodation, equipment and other amenities on site is entirely at the risk of the guest. No
responsibility can be accepted for injury, loss or damage to the guests' or their belongings, including vehicles.
Owners' Liabilities
The owners shall not be liable to the guests for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services; nor
in respect of any equipment or appliance in the gite or garden; nor of any loss, damage or injury caused by adverse
weather conditions, war, strikes or any other matters beyond the control of the owners. The owners shall not be liable
to the guests for any loss or inconvenience caused to, or suffered by, the guest should the property be destroyed
or substantially damaged before the start if the rental period, in such an event, the owner will refund all sums
previously paid by the guest (in respect to the relevant rental period) within seven days of notification to the guest.
Under no circumstances shall the owners' liability to the guest exceed the amount paid to the owner for the rental period.
